As a Thriving in Color: Houston attendee, you’re getting exclusive early access and a free 3-month membership to our brand-new virtual community on Circle, launching to the public in September.
This is a safe, supportive place for Black creators to connect, share tips, drop resources, ask questions, and grow together. The Circle app allows us to host virtual sessions, meetups, and create unique spaces for creators to connect based on interests, location, niche, etc.
Come say hi, meet your fellow creators before the event, explore the space, and help shape what this community becomes. This space will also be used for our group activity/competition that will take place during and after the event - trust me you won’t want to miss out on this!

Speakers: Morgie Mone, Shay NicoleLearn how to craft and share your authentic story in ways that build deep connections with your audience. We'll explore storytelling frameworks, vulnerability as a business strategy, and how to turn your experiences into content that converts.
The Business of Being a Creator
Speakers: Carmen Renee, Bianca Morrison, Crystal CartwrightDive into showing up as a brand, monetization strategies, pricing your worth, and building sustainable revenue streams. We'll cover everything from brand partnerships to product creation, with specific focus on owning and monetizing your audience.

During this time you will be split into groups and will work on an activity to put everything you learned to the test! This activity will begin at the event and will extend to 1-2 weeks after. This work is not done in 30 minutes, we want to make sure you not only have time to put your learnings into practice but also continue nurturing the connections you made at the event.

We will round of the educational portion of the event with a Q&A with the speakers. You will be able to submit questions throughout the day for the chance to be answered during this time. We will do our best to answer the top questions but any that we don’t get to we will try to answer virtually, post event or use to shape future events!
